Police arrested 22 men in Florida during a five-day effort known as “Operation Undertow.” The Washington Post’s article “Florida child sex sting nets 22 suspects, including Methodist pastor who volunteered in schools” gives details on the internet sting that involved men trying to have sex with minors.
Among one of the men arrested was a 52-year-old Florida pastor from the First United Methodist Church of Pace.
According to The Washington Post, “police called the effort “the largest multi-jurisdictional Internet sting” since the department arrested 25 men during a one-week-long sting in 2011.”
